Have you ever wondered what gives someone the right to come to Jesus? Some people hesitate because they feel unworthy. Others wait until they “get their life together.” Still others are unsure if God would really receive them.
But the truth is this: you can come to Christ — right now — just as you are.
And here’s why.
“And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.” – Revelation 22:17
God has thrown the door wide open. He offers salvation freely to “whosoever will.”
You don’t need a special background, a perfect record, or religious credentials. You simply need to be thirsty for the living water. Isaiah 55:1 invites everyone that thirsteth to come and receive what only God can give.
“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” – Matthew 11:28
This isn’t just a general offer — it’s a personal invitation from Jesus Christ Himself.
If you’re tired, burdened, broken, or confused… you are exactly the kind of person Jesus came for. He doesn’t ask you to clean yourself up first — He says, “Come.”
“We pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.” – 2 Corinthians 5:20
The gospel is not just a message — it’s a heartfelt plea from Heaven.
Through His servants, God beseeches people to come and be saved. You are not just welcome — you are wanted. He is seeking the lost and calling them home.
“This is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ…” – 1 John 3:23
Coming to Christ isn’t optional. It’s a divine command.
God has commanded all people everywhere to repent and believe. Hebrews 11:6 tells us that without faith, it is impossible to please God.
To ignore the gospel is not just risky — it’s rebellion.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son…” – John 3:16
“But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly…” – Romans 4:5
When you come to Christ in faith, you are not taking a gamble. You are resting on the promises of a God who cannot lie. He has assured that all who believe will not perish but have everlasting life.
“He that believeth not shall be damned.” – Mark 16:16
“He that believeth not is condemned already…” – John 3:18
“…taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel…” – 2 Thessalonians 1:7–8
The gospel carries with it not only a promise of life, but a warning of judgment.
To reject Christ is to remain under condemnation.
Hell is not for those God refused to save — it is for those who refused to come.
The gospel is good news — for you. Right now. Just as you are.
You don’t have to wait until you’re better, stronger, or more “ready.” The invitation is open. The Savior is waiting. You can come to Christ today.
